Kelly comes from a decidedly nonathletic background. She was not involved in sports or athletics as a child. In college she tried everything from running to pilates, and although she stayed active through her adult years, it was not until finding CrossFit that she developed a true passion for fitness. Kelly has now been doing CrossFit since 2010 and got her CrossFit Level One in August of 2013.
She works as a mild mannered teacher during the day and loves sharing her passion for squats and pull-ups with her students. She still enjoys yoga, donuts and sleeping in, but now also loves picking up heavy things, making progress at Block and watching others become better versions of themselves through hard work and consistency.
