To all my 12-Week Nutrition Challenge athletes this is just a friendly reminder that there is 4 weeks left. The challenge will officially end on July 31st. Although it may seem like there isn’t much time left it’s never too late to start. After all this challenge is about making lifestyle changes. Here are few things to consider during these last few weeks that may help you reach your individualized goals.
- 1. I have rewarded myself for the time and effort I have dedicated towards developing new lifestyle habits? (All changes whether small or large should be rewarded because you took the time to make a change.)
- 2. I have set a realistic goal that I can achieve by July 31st?
- 3. I have a game plan to reach my goal? (Be as specific as possible, what, when, time, how many days)
- 4. I am tracking my dietary intake? (Journal, excel, MyFitnessPal)
- 5. I plan my meals and snacks?
- 6. I am putting in the time at the box or gym as needed based on my goal?
- 7. I have visualized myself reaching my goal? (Visualization is a powerful tool that can help you anticipate challenges, therefore, allowing you to plan ahead.)
- 8. I have made a daily or weekly checklist of things I have to do to reach my goal.
- 9. Strive for excellence not perfection.
- 10. Never give up!
