Hey Block CrossFitters! You already push yourself during crazy CrossFit workouts. Are you ready to take the next step and improve your nutrition? If you haven’t heard, Juana Acosta & Caitlin McKee our Registered Dietitians, are running a 12-week Nutrition Challenge that starts May 1st and ends July 31st.
The challenge has been designed to give everyone the opportunity to participate by allowing you to choose a focus of either losing fat or increasing strength and muscle mass. Participants are encouraged to have their body composition analyzed by hydrostatic weighing on April 30th and have their initial measurements taken by either Juana or Caitlin by May 3rd. “Before” and “After” photos can be taken too but are optional. You can sign up for the challenge, measurements, and the hydrostatic weighing on the clipboards next to the front desk. Your $25 payment to participate in the challenge is due by May 1st.
Two nutrition seminars will be offered to help you learn how to implement dietary changes to meet your fitness goals. Handouts and materials covered will be provided to those who cannot attend, but we will not be offering multiple sessions so plan accordingly.
The first Nutrition Seminar will be held Sunday, April 27 at 10:30-11:30 am!
